Pastor Biography

Rev. Arthur Bryant was born in Paterson NJ , a graduate of Paterson Catholic High School and attended Livingston College at Rutgers University. He also attended Philadelphia Bible College, Trinity Bible College and recently received his Dr. of Divinity Honorary Degree from Grace Theological Seminary.

He was called to pastor the Friendship Baptist Church of Garfield in 2003 and has continued to pastor here for 12 years. He has been happily married for 35 years to Sandra Bryant and has one daughter, Cassaundra Bryant.

He has served on various boards in the city of Garfield. Former Founder and Chairman of Storm Inc – Youth fellowship from various churches. Former Vice Chairman of Ministerial Alliance of Passaic & Vicinity. Former Board Member of Good Shepherd Mission, Paterson NJ. Chairman of the Garfield Citizen’s Liaison Committee.
